Meet The Friends - Guest Bloggers!
Elle :)
Hi, my name is Elle :) I am honored (and very excited) to be writing for the Frog Blog. Mental health is a topic I am very passionate about, seeing as I have also struggled with social anxiety for the past three years of my life, and some of my close friends also struggle in other ways. Writing is my escape to and from reality. I love the freedom it gives, and the ability to create new, enchanting worlds filled with flawed characters that possess pieces of those I love and of myself. I am an avid bookworm, lover of all things Beatles and Broadway, and covert Swiftie all mixed into an old soul. I love to weave my faith throughout my writing, speaking from the perspective of someone who has been a believer for her whole life but understands that it is okay to ask questions and have doubts. It is my hope and prayer that my writing can be an encouragement to others who are fighting battles seen and unseen. Love ya bunches, Elle <3
Laine Halle
Hii!! My name is Laine, and I’m a teen writer who’s been struggling with depression for over three years. It all started when I found out I liked girls, and because of that (cause society sucks), I had my first panic-attack. Then it only went down-hill. And even though I’ve fully accepted my queerness now, for some reason all the negative feelings still stuck. Life has been difficult for me in a few different ways, but one thing always helps me out: writing. Whether that’s books, music, poetry, even my diary; writing has been my biggest outlet for all my sadness, anger, and insecurities. I will share things from my (still on-going) journey out of the deep dark hole, and I hope some things can help you see some light, too. We all gotta have each other’s backs, so just remember that I always got yours <3 i hope yall have a good rest of your day; I really mean it.
Joy F.
Hello there, friends! I’m Joy. I love poetry and often use it to express a lot of emotions when I am overwhelmed.I am the oldest sister of three girls, an advocate for mental health, and an enjoyer of chocolate–especially dark chocolate. But most importantly: I am a Daughter of Christ. I grew up in a Christian home with a loving and supportive family, yet despite that, during my teen years, I’ve struggled a lot with mental health issues, including social anxiety, depression, and (possibly) ADHD. I hope to one day use these issues to proclaim that as a Christian, it is ok to struggle with mental health and share Christ with other people <3
Anonymous Tadpole
Hey all! *bubble noises* I'm Anonymous Tadpole, Attie for short! I'm Anna's little brainchild who gets to act as the messenger for all the readers' stories that get shared on this platform. Any diary entry, essay, poem, or anything like that that gets shared anonymously will be under my name (I know, what a robbery). If you'd like to share your story with the world but don't want people to know that you wrote it, feel free to reach out to Anna Pearl via her email and talk with her about it! We're always accepting submissions for the Warriors Notes section. ;)

Anywho, that's enough advertising. Attie out!
Evvan Hodgem
Hey! I'm Evvan. I am a 15-year-old who was diagnosed with ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression when I was just 7 years old, and PTSD just this past year. These things have affected me a lot. Starting when I was ten, I went through something traumatic that lasted several years. Because of that, I began to question my gender and sexuality. Because of my trauma, I felt like I had to be someone else in order to heal from it. Because of all that questioning, starting in fifth grade, I had dark thoughts; I didn't want to be here anymore. My dad has been a pastor pretty much my whole life. I grew up knowing God’s love but struggled to believe he was there after the awful things I had experienced. I learned to cope with my mental health issues by journaling and writing poetry, singing, worshiping God, making art, and talking to my friends. I learned that I wasn't alone and that the voice in my head wasn't always telling the truth. Anyway, I want you to know that no matter what you are going through, it will get better!
