In this lovely compilation between 31 different authors, I've decided to stick with the classic book review format, simply because there's too many 5 - 10 page stories for me to write proper reviews for each of them.
This book was honestly great, but it was also very diverse. There are stories that use people's lives as examples, there are stories that seem like the person is interviewing their son on his struggles over the years, there are stories told in poetry, there are just... stories. Personal, poignant, stories.
Some of the things in this would be best described as essays. Articles, short stories, long-form poetry, etc. But compiled together it creates an anthology of hope and strength and encouragement to all the mental health warriors out there.
Each and every story was handwritten beautifully, and I love knowing that each person put so much time and effort and heart into their piece. They took it with seriousness and yet with personality; they knew that this was something big. That knowledge shines through each and every piece.
They knew you needed this, Warriors.
