As many re-read books do, this book left a huge impact on me. Not only when I first read it, but also when I read it for the second time. Full of twists, turns, and meaningful moments of growth, The Opposite of Falling Apart is a beautiful book that I'm excited to share with you guys. So, let's get into it!!
Brennan Davis needs to face her anxiety. Why? Because it had become more than just "anxiety." It had turned into some dark, debilitating dread of everything that controlled her every move. And with college coming up, she has to fight back, or it'll ruin everything.
Jonas Avery needs to learn to move on from the car accident he was in almost a year ago. The issue is, he has a good reason to be stuck in the memories. Ever since that accident, he's been less of a man—one leg less than of a man. And with the flashbacks that flood him nearly every time he gets in a car, he has a reason for not just "getting back to it."
In this story, Brennan and Jonas find unlikely solace in each other, forming a friendship where one would've never thought it possible. Through fights, anxiety attacks, Harry Potter books and more, we get to see their friendship grow and flourish on this adventure through their relationship.
Overall, this is a story about overcoming your fears and taking a chance at what you want in life.
